Our troop does not require the wearing of a uniform at every meeting. We will be going on trips and representing our troop at various functions where we will encourage students to wear their uniform (vest or sash only). We are going to leave the decision to purchase the vest or sash up to each parent with the understanding that no girl/family will be penalized for choosing not to make that purchase.
Uniforms can be purchased online or at Buff's in Beaufort.

Where is the place located that we can purchase the vests and sashes?
ReplyDeleteSuper glad you asked because I noticed yesterday that the store location changed. Most people purchase their Girl Scout uniforms from Buf's. It is located on Boundary Street (past the National Cememtary like you are heading toward downtown). DIRECTIONS: Go down Ribaut Road until you hit Boundary Street (that is where Ribaut ends and you have to turn either left or right at the government center/City Hall). Turn right. It is located on the left hand side - but not visible from the street(darn!) almost directly across from the Boys and Girls Club. If you have gone to the light at Charles Street (on that road) you have gone too far.
